What is it with cats and q-tips? My guys go NUTS for them to the point where I had to get a locking garbage bin. They had a tendency of finding the q-tips and then finding everything else in there. Hobbes just can’t do things half way LOL.

Calvin is reminding me of Lili Von Shtupp. “A wed wose. How womantic.” (Blazing Saddles)

Oribel digs through her toy bin to find stuff sometimes, but usually she has pieces of bubble wrap or her absolutely favorite “coaster mice” (and here I thought they were coasters for my coffee!) to drag around the house and drop into the dog’s water dish or “pull the fishbowl together” as a rug.

Thank goodness for Tabby Tuesday!! Seems that I always need a chuckle on Tuesday.

He is such a cutie! In a medieval witch trial, if the bound woman floated, she was a witch and then burned at the stake. If she sank and drown, she hadn’t been a witch. Perhaps the floating red mousie is in a coven.

I love Tabby Tuesday! He needs a bendy straw to wrestle though. That’s Inara’s favorite toy lately.

OMG! I’m ROTFLMAO!! I will never forget the first time our Max “drowned” a “mouse” in his water bowl! Cracked me up to no end!! Q-tips are a favorite toy, too.

    Have a great day!!

My cats love to put their toys in their food and water bowls, too! Unfortunately, Rosey put her favorite knitted wool I-cord in the water bowl and it wicked the water out and all over the floor!

What is it about Q-tips? My cats love them!

Did he drop the mouse into the water bowl or was that a special effect? haha.
I had a guy who loved to drop toys into my shoes. And he loved to curl up next to them & sleep. tho I often wondered if he was sleeping or if the foot fumes just rendered him unconscious.

Tripsie likes to play with the Qtips too, Calvin. She has a bad habit of knocking them into the air vent though.

Have you ever read that story by David Sedaris about how he was trying to drown a mouse? Hilarious–and the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw Calvin’s experiment with floating mice.

Our kitty loved the Q-tips, too. I still find them behind furniture 2 years after she went over the Rainbow Bridge.

Wow, he looks really big in these pics. They grow up so fast!
