I do take pictures of things other than cats and knitting. Don’t get me wrong, I know where my talent lies when it comes to photography (and I do know people aren’t it). But I had fun yesterday playing around in my friends backyard.

Hey look! I have a monochrome setting!

Lonely little empty pot looks lonely. And little. And empty.

Dramatic flower looks dramatic.

A cool hollow stump. It’s like Timmy fell down the well in miniature.

I had some fun with my camera. I need to do that more often. (I know, I know. Just don’t forget the cats on Tuesdays and sometimes Thursdays.)

   DSLR cameras are the best. And there’s just something about the “click” of that SLR shutter. Love it!
