Remember when you bought it!
Remember what did you want to do with!
Look for:

12 things – could be 12 balls of sock yarn for 12 pairs of socks
12 balls of yarn that you refuse to throw out or that are left over from another project
12 balls of roving
12 WIPs
12 UFOs…
The clock is ticking. Everything – meaning the 12 things you picked - needs to be gone by December 31, 2008. It is up to you to achieve your goal and finish 12 possible missions.

Fullfill its original destiny!
Do something completely different!
Donate it!
Throw it out!
Set it on fire! But then we want to see the video on YouTube!
The goal is to get these 12 items out of your stash by the end of 2008!

And here are a few rules:

You commit to the 12 tasks and put your list on this Ravelry group.
You finish all of your tasks by December 31, 2008.
If you don’t accomplish your goal, you will have to donate the selected items.

1) Knit the Ivy League Vest - For Me

- Started on January 20th - Finished April 16th

2) Knit the Central Park Hoodie - For Me

3) Knit the Endpaper Mitts - For my Sister

4) Knit Muir - For Me

5) Knit the Show Your Colors shawl - possible gift

6) Knit the Rib Warmer (waiting on pattern to come in) - For me
- UPDATE - Well, I knit it but it was way too big for me so it was gifted to Pam. Must try again.

7) Spin at least 1 bag of the Mohair/Merino blend I bought at SAFF (I bought 2 - if spinning the one starts to throw me into fits, it’ll be destashed.)

Who am I kidding? I’m freakin’ ALLERGIC to mohair. Gifted both bags to Illiane.
Spin the silk hankies I got at MDSW

9) Spin a full 8oz of the same fiber (lots of what I have is 4oz)

- Started January 25th
- Finished May 24th - 775 yards of Black Bunny Fibers 90%Delaine Merino/10% Kid Mohair in “Peonies”

10) Knit socks from the Merino/Tencel blueberry yarn I spun last year

11) Destash at least 20 skeins of yarn. This will require another re-evaluation of my stash, being realistic about what I will and will not ever knit up.

- Destashed way more than 20 since the beginning of the year.

12) Knit 24 Hats for Alex this year.

- 3 hats done and mailed 1/29/08
- 2 hats delivered on 2/29/08
- 3 hats done and mailed on 3/28/08
