It’s Wednesday, You Know What to Do

WiP it!
I was finally able to switch to a longer cord on the Cap Shawl. This is it’s progress on a 40″ cord.
It’s coming along nicely. This is the easy part of it though. I don’t get into the real hard part for a while yet. But it’s exciting to have gotten this far already!
The Jaywalker scarf is growing.
5 inches in a week isn’t bad for purse knitting. The bolster pillow thing is in hibernation. As soon as I add another section to it I’ll declare it awoken. I’m hoping for some time this weekend. But the MS3 first clue is out on Friday so gah! I dunno if I’ll have time!
I did choose the yarn and pattern for my sock swap pal, Dulcedosa. I do believe I shall start them tonight.
And btw, Ripple forgives us all.

Oooh, me likeys that shawl. It’s looking beautiful. I’m still enjoying your Jaywalker scarf too.
The colors on the scarf just make me smile. Can’t wait to see the shawl.
Looking good! Hey, I have an extra 60″ cord iffin you should need to borrow it for the shawl! LMK!
Looks great! Love how the jaywalker scarf is knitting up. WIP Wednesday is such a motivator to get those projects done!
Although I didn’t vote before - must have missed it - I really think the sweater looks better on Ripple. Pink suits him. Pink is a very hard color for a guy to wear, but he wears it very well.
I’m falling more and more in love with that scarf every time I see it. I think my Grandma would love one…
You haven’t started your socks yet? Cme On! I’m already working up the leg (toe up!).
Yay, progress! I’m the kind of knitter who crams 200+ stitches onto 24″ needles, so I find the amount of cap shawl actually visible downright amazing. And such happy colors on the Jaywalker scarf. I had a talk with some of my sock yarn, and I think it wants to become Jaywalkers. It’s just Jaywalker type of weather, I suppose!
Looks lovely! I am trying to start this shawl right now and haven’t had a ton of success with the circle cast on + dpn combination. I’m thinking about trying Magic Loop, but haven’t gotten that far yet. What cast on did you use? Any tips and tricks? Thanks!
You’ve made a lot of progress on the Cap Shawl! It looks good. Dare I ask how many stitches per round you are at and how many there are at the finish?
The colors of your Jaywalker scarf make me happy.
That shawl is going to be magnificent once it’s done. Makes me want to go grab my shoalwater shawl right now! Love the scarf, just looks so bright and cheery. Perfect for summer.
Five inches is impressive!
Ripple don’t be mad at Mommy–she’s knitting you gorgeous shawl
Love the happiness of the Jaywalker scarf! They’re not colors I’d normally imagine together, but it makes me smile, and that’s always a good thing.
And I missed voting, too, but Ripple definitely looked better. Definite professional kitty model material.
Both your shawl and scarf look great! Don’t worry, Ripple — Bug, Moana, and I all thought you looked totally spectacular in the pink sweater… way better than the little woofer (who looked good, but you looked… awesome!). Pink definitely goes well with orange.
Ooooh! I love that yarn!
It finally hit me! That Jaywalker scarf reminds me of Mardi Gras colors.
I have got to get more organized so I can WIP it on Weds.
Your shawl is looking great.
