It’s the best day of the year! Except for Christmas. And my birthday. And all those holidays I get the day off for. But according to The Humane Society, today is World Turtle Day! Thank you, Rain, for letting me know!
I never knew there was such a day! I’ll have to tell my mom - she is equally enraptured with turtles - as am I! (My turtle obsession began when my then boyfriend proposed to me by writing “Will you marry me?” inside a turtle shaped box!

How funny, I totally saw a turtle today in the (concrete bottom) stream by my house. Until recently I didn’t think anything but mosquitos lived there!
