Because Carrie Said So

Always start with Alpaca. Ok, Carrie.
Installment #1 of the Maryland Sheep & Wool pr0n is from Delly’s Delights Farm in Trappe, Maryland. It is 650 yards of sportweight-soft-as-hell goodness. They even called it “O So Soft”
The colorway is called “Char” and I would guess that this is it’s natural color. The other alapaca on the shelves of this booth were all natural colors. I bought 2 skeins and when I found my way to where Trillian42 and Artsygal were waiting patiently for me, Artsygal immediately baid me to lead her to it and she bought a hank for herself.
Do you blame her?
In other news, remember the “Vincent’s Wheat Fields” from 2 weeks ago? It’s spun and plied. I’ll be hanking it up and setting the twist this weekend. Yay!

*glee* Aw you’re too sweet! I kinda wish I had seen that stuff. It’s beautiful!!! It’s got… nuance. And huzzah for outdoor photos, I like taking pics outside too
I really like that charcoal color!
I got something very similar in a pale green at Tess’s booth. What are you planning on knitting with this loveliness?
Alpaca….drool. Now at one purchase per week for YPF how long will it take you to show us your MD&SW haul?
That is pretty stuff! Love it. I liked looking at the festival pictures. Thanks gfor posting them. Looks like you had a fab time.
I’m with Liz. I want to know what you’re planning on making with it. Soft undies, perhaps?
Blugga…uggaa…wuuggaaa
*still recovering from STR wall*
Glad I got home to see your pictures. pictures are blocked at school.
At least I did not get the black screen of death and could read the words.
Super pictures.
Alpaca….yummy!!! Gorgeous and soooo soft, I’m sure.
So much more depth to that color taking it’s pic outside I’m imagining. Very nice!
Very nice!! I bet it’s so soft!
All of your yarn pics are incredible! What a great time you had - I think I would have come away an indentured servant to some yarn company had I been there.
Can’t wait to see what becomes of all your lovely finds.
That looks so soft. So whatcha knittin’?
ooooh, so gorgeous!
Loooovely alpaca! So squishy, so luscious, so I want!
