Mmm…Strawberries and Chocolate
May 4th, 2007 by turtlegirl76
So, I was catching up on my bloglines on Saturday and saw that Emma had opened an etsy shop with some really gorgeous handpainted roving. I immediately snapped up 2 colorways and received it on Monday! Talk about some fast shipping!
This colorway is called Strawberries & Chocolate
Can’t you just taste it melting in your mouth like your favorite ice cream? And talk about soft! The roving is Blue Face Leicester, 4 oz. Same with this stuff coming up next in a colorway appropriately called “Sunset”
Gorgeous isn’t it? You can find more of her stuff at Dragonfibers.

Oh, that sunset roving is just divine! To have the money, space, and time to justify such a purchase! (Unfortunately, I don’t think those three elements will be coming together anytime soon for me.)
I’ve never seen a roving that made me have the urge to roll around in it naked before until I saw that! It does look good enough to eat!
Those will spin up pretty!! Like the colors for this time of the year!
Can’t wait to see them in a knitted object!
Gorgeous!!! Hey, when you spin the sunset roving, you and I will have to get together and wear things we’ve made with our handspun, because I’ve got some roving that’s sunrise colors
My roving made it into YPF!!!! I can’t wait to see what you do with it.
Gorgeous! cant’ wait to see what you do with it.
Oooh, fiber pron! The best! Love it! And, totally checking out that shop.
Have fun at the woolfest with Pam!
oh my! that looks so nice! lovely roving. wish i knew how to spin?
Oooo, pretttttyyyy. Is BFL softer than merino?
Hope you’re having fun at the wool festival! What am I saying, it’s a wool festival. How does one *not* have fun?
*gasp* It’s sooooooooo pretty!
How beautiful, it makes me want to take up spinning.
