This is where I am as of this morning.
OK, so this is a full on race to the finish against Pam. She’s one day behind me and knitting a larger size, but she’s got the advantage of more time throughout the day to work on it (though she refuses to use all 8 hours of advantage. Something about Kris not wanting to go to work naked and hungry.) but I fully expect her to gain on me when she hits the colorwork section. That last repeat went a lot faster than the first two. I found my groove at that point with my fingers. Looks good though, eh? I brought it with me to work this morning and got a few rounds done on it on the car ride in. Lunch time will hopefully prove to be fruitful as well. Then it’s my Wednesday night knit night at Books-A-Million too. Don’t be surprised if I finish the body before the day is over. It’s on like Donkey-Kong!

Good luck to you!. It looks like it will come out looking really nice.
My doubt for your is dwindling rapidly.
The tomatoes are flying!
Whoo, Go C Go!
and Pam too, I guess. Just to keep it all a friendly competition.
Oh cute. I was just browsing through No Sheep For You on the weekend and I noticed this cute little top. Isn’t the yarn absoulutedly divine? So soft cotton. I’m knitting up the snap cardi in the same shade right now.
That is great sweater!
I really like the colors you chose. I have this book and wasn’t completely thrilled with the patterns but seeing your Tomato made me go back and take another look.
Damn, woman. I haven’t even split my sleeves off yet. I’m toast.
it looks really great so far. i love the houndstooth pattern.
Ok, the cooking may not be critical, but you WILL have to answer to my co-workers if I am forced to go to work naked. They will not be pleased.
I am so digging that colorwork! Love the color combo, too.
Hey, you’ve learned how to knit and drive at the same time? How ’bout a tutorial?
It looks great! Love the color combination too!
I love, love, love that pattern. I like your color combo just as much as the original pattern. Oh and damn you knit fast!
Yes, but is it on like pants?
Giggle! So glad I’m not in competition with you too! *ducks the flying tomatoes!*
Looking really good though! I can’t wait to see Pam’s colors!
Ok, I’ll admit that the food is totally optional. However, if I am forced to go to work naked, you will have to answer to my co-workers. They will NOT be pleased.
LOL @ It’s on like Donkey Kong!! Hahaha!
It looks CUTE!! That class did teach you something! :o)
I really need to sign up for it before I leave!
A new bumper sticker for you: Pay attention while driving, because I’m busy knitting. Yowzah. That’s all I have to say.
Hi, I hopped over from Pam’s blog and WOW I wish I could work that fast! It looks great.
Nice to meet you, btw, though I think we met on the light rail to Stitches?
Holy fast knitting!!! It’s looking amazing, though - love the color combo.
You’re tanking along with that. I haven’t seen that pattern before and I love the colours you’re using.
